This weekend:
A nice warm to hot and increasingly humid weekend is in store. The weekend also looks to be mostly dry with just a slight chance of a thunderstorm mainly on Saturday. Temperatures will be in the 80's with increasing humidity. Sunday may be downright uncomfortable outside with dewpoints reaching the upper 60's.
Monday:
Severe weather outbreak possible over MO. The first in a series of disturbances will approach the area with a moderate to strongly unstable atmosphere in place. Wind profiles will be favorable for severe thunderstorms. Supercell thunderstorms are expected to erupt by Monday afternoon over western and central MO and will likely quickly become severe. Very large hail, damaging winds and a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Based on the 09Z SREF products, it currently appears that Monday evening and in to night may be the worst for the immediate St. Louis area with a nighttime tornado threat possible.
Tuesday:
It still appears that another round of possibly severe weather will develop in advance of a cold front which will be moving through sometime on Tuesday. More details as time goes on.
