St. Louis City may implement "Tornado Shield" tomorrow

The project isn't 100% done yet, but in the event of a tornado outbreak tomorrow, the City of St. Louis will fire up it's new "Tornado Shield" which is theoretically supposed to protect the city from tornadoes. The "Tornado Shield" generator is in an underground bunker beneath the new Cardinal stadium. Happy April 1. :-)

  1. If I remember the government has been looking into the Shield for about 10 years.

I also read a science paper about a Hurricane Shield. The paper explained in great detail about building a wall of cement around the US coastline therefore blocking the storms most damaging effects. I believe they offered no relief from the wind and flooding precipitation and also the high cost. Funny this paper also came out on April 1.
