Severe Weather threat Wed.-Thur. and the weekend

Wet and stormy period has begun. Showers and thunderstorms developed overnight over parts of the area. There is a chance of heavy rain and severe weather today and tomorrow. The Storm Prediction Center has outlined a Slight Risk for Severe Weather over most of Missouri including the St. Louis area for today. Friday should be a dryer day, but then strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible this weekend as a warm, humid and unstable airmass enters the area behind a warm front.
