Heavy rain has once again entered the region this morning. A wide area of moderate to heavy rain has entered the St. Louis area this morning and moving Northeast. The rainfall should last 2-3 hours before diminishing. Severe Weather stayed south last night over AR, OK, and TX and the SPC has a MOD RISK over a large portion of the lower Mississippi Valley into the lower Ohio Valley for today. A PWO has also been issued for that area. St. Louis is in a slight risk for svr wx for this afternoon. Friday will be a dryer day until Saturday when another system may bring the chance for thunderstorms into the area.
