A nearly stationary thunderstorm has developed near the Sullivan, Union, St. Clair area near I-44 in MO early this evening. This storm is capable of very heavy rain over the same areas. Radar is also indicating the presence of possibly some small hail. Radar rainfall estimates indicate that this storm has dropped between .5 - 1.0" of rain over the last hour.
Expect these isolated storms to pop up over the next few hours and dissipate after dark.
