The St. Louis area will be positioned to view a partial solar eclipse Sunday evening. The starting time will be at 7:25 with a maximum of 53% coverage at 8:05 PM. So, will the weather remain cloud free enough to view this eclipse?
Unfortunately, it may be quite cloudy with even a chance of rain. Hopefully there are enough breaks in the clouds to sneak a peek.
Remember not to directly view the eclipse with your eyes, binoculars or telescope. You can permanently damage your eyes!
A pinhole projector is the best way to observe an eclipse. You can look up designs by searching the WWW. Good luck!
