Winter Storm Watches for parts of MO, OK, KS
A Winter Storm will continue to develop across the southern plains today. A Low pressure system will intensify and move across Arkansas into the Missouri boot heal by Sunday bringing the likelihood of heavy snow to parts of MO. 6+ inches may fall from Springfield to around 50 miles north of St. Louis. Mostly rain mixed with some wet snow will occur south of this area. If the Low tracks a bit further south, the St. Louis area may receive accumulating snow. Winter Storm Warnings are likely to be issued in later forecasts mainly along and north of the I-44 corridor.
