The purpose of this Blog is for me to discuss my research and findings related to understanding, using, integrating and viewing Weather related data. Why weather? Well, Weather has been a passion of mine since I was a young child of 5 after living through an F5 tornado. I am not a professional meteorologist, but I have some formal training in the subject and I have done considerable self learning over the years, especially in the field of severe weather.
My professional background is in the fields of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Web development. Why not combine my interests into an open discussion and hopefully an idea generating environment that will benefit me as well as other interested individuals?
